The Al-Nahrain Center Organizes a Specialized Workshop on the Digital Behavior of Society During Crises and Response Mechanisms

The Department of Technological Studies and Cybersecurity, in cooperation with the Department of Political Studies, held a specialized workshop entitled “The Digital Behavior of Society During Crises and Risks: Impacts and Response Mechanisms” on Monday, 25 May 2026, with the participation of an elite group of researchers, academics, and representatives of governmental bodies concerned with digital and media affairs, in addition to a number of individuals interested in the fields of cybersecurity and societal behavior analysis.

The workshop shed light on the transformations witnessed in the digital behavior of society during periods of crises through analyzing patterns of interaction with digital content and the mechanisms of information dissemination across electronic platforms, and the reflection of this on shaping public opinion and managing the information landscape in sensitive environments.
