Qasim al-Araji chairs an expanded meeting with the staff of the Advisory and researchers at the Al-Nahrain Center for Strategic Studies

National Security Advisor, Mr. Qasim al-Araji, chaired today, Tuesday, an expanded meeting with the staff of the Advisory and the researchers at the Al-Nahrain Center for Strategic Studies, in the presence of the Director General, Mr. Ali Nasser.

During the meeting, the current situations that the country is going through were discussed, as well as reviewing the most prominent challenges and problems facing state institutions at the political, security, social, and economic levels, in addition to discussing the means capable of developing appropriate solutions and treatments, in a way that contributes to supporting the path of the state, enhancing stability, and consolidating institutional work.

During the meeting, emphasis was also placed on the importance of the role undertaken by the Al-Nahrain Center for Strategic Studies in preparing strategic studies and research and providing scientific visions and consultations to the government and decision-makers, in a manner that enhances the state’s ability to deal with current changes and challenges according to scientific and professional foundations.

The meeting also discussed holding a number of specialized workshops and seminars addressing important and sensitive topics that affect the security and stability of the state, and working to accurately diagnose challenges and study their causes and repercussions, leading to the development of appropriate solutions and recommendations that contribute to supporting state institutions and enhancing their ability to confront future crises and challenges.
