Al-Nahrain Center for Strategic Studies Participates in a Workshop on Geopolitical Risks, Energy Markets, and Their Impact on the Iraqi Economy

Mr. Jawad Al-Khaikani, Head of the Energy, Water, and Environment Department at the Al-Nahrain Center for Strategic Studies, participated in the scientific workshop entitled: “Geopolitical Risks, Energy Markets, and Their Impact on Economic and Development Stability in Iraq,” which was held at University of Baghdad / College of Excellence, with the participation of a group of researchers, academics, and students.

The workshop discussed a number of important topics related to the energy sector and the geopolitical challenges affecting the Iraqi economy, particularly issues concerning oil marketing, the Strait of Hormuz, and the repercussions of any regional developments on Iraqi oil exports and the country’s economic stability.
