The Al-Nahrain Center Participates in a Seminar on the Repercussions of the Fourth Gulf War on Iraq

The Al-Nahrain Center for Strategic Studies participated in the scientific seminar organized by the House of Wisdom – Information and Decision Support Center, entitled “The Potential Repercussions of the Fourth Gulf War on Iraq” on Monday, 4 May 2026, with the attendance of a group of academics and experts.

The center was represented by Mr. Thaer Al-Shujairi from the Department of Military Studies and Counter Terrorism, where he participated in moderating the session that discussed the most prominent economic, security, and social repercussions of any potential regional escalation on Iraq.

The seminar addressed several research themes focusing on the effects of the war on the national economy, air defense capabilities, and geopolitical repercussions, in addition to the social impacts and the future of the energy sector, while emphasizing the importance of strategic preparedness to confront potential challenges.
