Al-Nahrain Center participates in the Second Scientific Forum on Investment in Scientific Research

Researcher Dr. Laith Al-Alaq at Al-Nahrain Center for Strategic Studies participated in the proceedings of the Second Scientific Forum, which was held under the patronage of the Speaker of the Council of Representatives, Mr. Haibat Al-Halbousi, and organized by the Parliamentary Research and Studies Department in cooperation with Al-Imam Al-Kadhim College (peace be upon him).

The forum was held under the title: “Investment in Scientific Research: Strategy of Excellence, Policy-Making – Challenges and Solutions,” and witnessed the participation of a select group of researchers, academics, and specialists in the fields of scientific research and policy-making.

During the forum sessions, participants discussed the importance of employing scientific research to support development pathways and enhance the innovation environment, as well as reviewing the most prominent challenges facing investment in this vital sector, while presenting a set of practical visions and proposals to overcome obstacles and build effective strategies that contribute to achieving institutional and scientific excellence.
