Al-Nahrain Center Participates in a Scientific Lecture at Al-Mustansiriya University on Environmental Education and Promoting Sustainable Awareness

Within the framework of its efforts to enhance environmental awareness and consolidate the concepts of sustainability, Professor Jawad Al-Khaikani, Head of the Energy, Water and Environment Department at the National Security Advisory – Al-Nahrain Center for Strategic Studies, delivered a scientific lecture entitled “Environmental Education is the Cornerstone for Building Sustainable Awareness,” which was hosted by the College of Pharmacy at Al-Mustansiriya University, under the patronage of the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Mundhir Faisal Mahdi.

The lecture was held in cooperation with the Energy and Environment Sustainability Committee, the Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation Division, and the Department of Drugs and Toxicology, with the attendance of a distinguished group of faculty members and students, at the conference and seminar hall in the deanery building.
During the lecture, the importance of environmental education in building a responsible societal awareness that contributes to protecting natural resources and reducing environmental risks and their impacts on public health and community stability was highlighted.
