Al-Aaraji Chairs a Meeting at Al-Nahrain Center for Strategic Studies in the Presence of the Director General of the Center and a Number of Researchers

The National Security Adviser, Mr. Qasim Al-Aaraji, chaired today, Tuesday, a meeting at Al-Nahrain Center for Strategic Studies in the presence of the Director General of the Center, Professor Ali Nasser, and a number of researchers, during which a number of important topics were discussed.
The meeting primarily addressed the situation in the region in light of the ongoing military operations and their repercussions on the Iraqi arena, in addition to discussing Iraq’s relations with the international community and ways to employ them in a manner that serves the supreme interests of the country at the various political, economic, social, cultural, security and intelligence levels, in a way that enhances the capabilities of the security and military institutions.
The attendees also discussed the most prominent potential challenges and problems, and presented a number of visions and ideas capable of addressing them, in a manner that contributes to enhancing stability and supporting development paths. The meeting also touched on issues of cybersecurity and artificial intelligence applications, and ways to benefit from them in supporting the work of institutions and strengthening national capabilities.
This meeting comes within the framework of the role undertaken by Al-Nahrain Center for Strategic Studies in providing studies, visions, and strategic advice to the Prime Minister, in a way that contributes to supporting the decision-making process.
