Al-Nahrain Center Organizes a Lecture on the Implications of the Post–October 7 Phase

Al-Nahrain Center for Strategic Studies, under the direction of the National Security Advisory / Office of the Deputy, organized an intellectual lecture addressing the developments and implications of the post–October 7 phase, attended by Dr. Zaidan Khalaf, Deputy National Security Advisor of Iraq.
The lecture was delivered by Dr. Aqeel Al-Khazali, Advisor to the Prime Minister for Administrative Development Affairs, who reviewed the most prominent political and security variables produced by the events, and their repercussions on the regional and international landscapes, as well as their impact on power balances and paths of stability in the region.
The lecture witnessed the participation of an elite group of academics, researchers, representatives of research centers, and specialists in political and security affairs. Discussions focused on the geopolitical and security transformations resulting from recent developments, and on examining their future dimensions.
The organizers of the event emphasized the importance of enhancing rigorous scientific dialogue to understand the nature of the rapidly evolving changes in the region, and to formulate strategic visions that contribute to supporting decision-makers, pointing to the pivotal role played by research centers in analyzing crises and providing in-depth readings that help strengthen stability and security.
