Today, the Assistant Director-General of Al-Nahrain Center for Strategic Studies, Dr. Mohammed Al-Akeeli, received Professor Abdul Amir Al-Quraishi, Director-General of the Karbala Center for Studies and Research at the Holy Hussain Shrine, along with his accompanying delegation.

The visit aimed to expand the horizons of scientific cooperation and exchange research expertise between the two institutions. During the meeting, both sides discussed mechanisms to develop joint research work, particularly in the fields of studying the Arbaeen pilgrimage, which represents a human and cultural phenomenon that requires further academic analysis.

The two parties also addressed ways to enhance research projects that contribute to supporting decision-makers and serving national priorities.

The visit included an honoring ceremony for Al-Nahrain Center researchers who participated in the Ninth International Conference on the Arbaeen Pilgrimage, in recognition of their scientific efforts and active participation that strengthened the center’s presence in research forums.

Professor Abdul Amir Al-Quraishi praised the researchers’ efforts, emphasizing the importance of supporting scientific talents and their role in advancing research work.
