Al-Nahrain Center Participates in the Concluding Conference of the Literacy and Environment Project on Environmental Security in Iraq

The Head of the Energy, Water, and Environment Department at Al-Nahrain Center for Strategic Studies, Mr. Jawad Hadhoud Al-Naif, participated in the concluding conference of the Literacy and Environment Project, which addressed the topic of environmental security in Iraq between national policies and social responsibility. The event was held at the headquarters of the Journalists’ Syndicate under the patronage of the Supreme Council for Youth, in cooperation with the “Women of Mesopotamia” team.

This conference comes within the framework of national efforts to enhance environmental awareness and consolidate the concepts of sustainable development, as well as to shed light on the environmental challenges facing Iraq and the means to address them through the integration of governmental policies with community initiatives.
