Al-Nahrain Center for Strategic Studies participated in the First National Conference “Toward a National Strategy to Combat Child Labor,” organized by the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs in cooperation with the International Labor Organization, with the presence of the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, as well as a distinguished group of officials, experts, researchers, and representatives of civil society organizations.

The conference aimed to establish a comprehensive national framework to reduce the phenomenon of child labor in Iraq by studying the social and economic causes leading to it and presenting proposals and policies that ensure the protection of children’s rights and guarantee their upbringing in a safe and stable environment.
